This thesis analyses the transformation of the contemporary perfumery market, investigating the shift from a marketing model based on desire and emulation to one centred on identity and authenticity. The work examines the dynamics of a rapidly evolving sector, characterised by a growing polarisation between designer and artistic perfumery. Through the analysis of the new consumer profile - more aware, olfactorily educated and influenced by digital communities - the thesis explores the decisive role of social media, with particular focus on the #PerfumeTok phenomenon and its impact on purchasing behaviour, especially among Generation Z. The third thematic section delves into the communicative and distributive strategies of artistic perfumery, examining the role of storytelling, packaging and experiential retail in brand value construction. The thesis concludes with a comparative analysis between the mass-market and niche models, highlighting how contemporary exclusivity is no longer defined by price, but by a brand's ability to resonate with the consumer's sense of identity.

Abstract
The thesis concludes with a comparative analysis between the mass-market and niche models, highlighting how contemporary exclusivity is no longer defined by price, but by a brand's ability to resonate with the consumer's sense of identity.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
