Analisi aerodinamica dell’ala anteriore di una vettura Formula 4

Presentation, design, and aerodynamic analysis of a Formula 4 car's front wing. This work begins with an introduction to the role of aerodynamics in the world of motorsport, focusing on the front wing of cars competing in the F4 series. Subsequently, it will be presented the CAD model of the front wing, created in SolidWorks, with the aim of producing a faithful replica. The assembly has been simulated using Siemens STAR-CCM+ CFD software.

Presentazione, progettazione e analisi aerodinamica dell'ala anteriore di una vettura di Formula 4. Il presente lavoro si apre con un'introduzione al ruolo dell'aerodinamica nel motorsport, focalizzandosi sull'ala anteriore delle vetture concorrenti nella serie di F4. Successivamente verrà presentato il modello CAD dell'ala anteriore, realizzato su Solidworks, con l'obiettivo di lavorare su una replica fedele. L'assieme è stato poi simulato tramite software CFD Siemens STARCCM+.
