The thesis analyzes the risk of banalization of the collective brand that may occur in the wide and well-known designation of Italian’s wine. The research is focused on the designation of origin of Chianti DOCG and analyze a panel data of italian families that had purchased this product netween the 2020 and 2021. At first it will be done an analysis of the Chianti DOCG supply and then it will be investigated the demand through a segmentation of the purchases in the panel data of the italian families. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the type of buyer of Chianti DOCG in the different range of price of wine that is possible to find in the shelves of the supermarkets.
La tesi intende analizzare il rischio di banalizzazione del marchio collettivo che si riscontra nelle grandi e note denominazioni d'origine dei vini italiani. la ricerca si focalizza sulla denominazione d'origine Chianti DOCG e analizza un panel dati di famiglie italiane. Dapprima verrà effettuata un'analisi dell'offerta dei vini Chianti DOCG e, successivamente, viene investigata la domanda attraverso una segmentazione degli acquisti all'interno del pane di famiglie italiane. Lo scopo di questa analisi è di determinare la tipologia di acquirente di Chianti DOCG nelle diverse fasce di prezzo dei vini presenti sugli scaffali dei supermercati.

Abstract
