Rappresentazioni, idee e significati del femminismo negli uomini italiani

This study is based on conducting semi-structured interviews aimed at investigating precursors of identification and involvement with feminism on italian men, to examine the social representations related to feminism, the paths of men towards feminism, the relationship between feminist identification and masculinity, the meanings linked to being a feminist man and to "doing" feminism, together with stereotypes about feminists and feminists who they drive other men away from the movement.

Il presente studio si è costituito sulla conduzione di interviste semi-strutturate finalizzate ad indagare i precursori dell’identificazione e del coinvolgimento con il femminismo negli uomini italiani, ad esaminare le rappresentazioni sociali relative al femminismo, i percorsi degli uomini verso il femminismo, la relazione tra identificazione femminista e mascolinità, i significati legati all'essere un uomo femminista e al “fare” femminismo, insieme agli stereotipi sulle femministe e sui femministi che allontanano altri uomini dal movimento.
