By reviewing the effects of climate change in literature, of the many risks that stand out for the world community, food insecurity is one of the most impactful. By analysing the causes of the exacerbating environmental deterioration, it is evident that, given the existing hefty inequalities, the average lifestyle at the global level is unsustainable. International acts to weaken the worst climate change consequences and pressures to implement the ecological transition are rising, but there is also an unbridgeable gap between objectives and actions. This is mainly due to the economic contrasting concerns, the perpetuating old growth patterns, the unequal wealth distribution and the technological complexity. In this intricated scenario, the single person is generally considered as a statistical variable rather than a pivotal acting entity, thus is perceived as disconnected from the problem and free of blame. This dissertation will analyse the responsibilities and the tangible acts that citizens as individuals can implement in the community framework. This will be done by keeping in account the neglected perspective of people living in close contact with rural and agricultural traditions, who are eventually also the most affected by climate change. Further remarks on the urgency of a transition will follow along with the ways through which this could be carried out.

Abstract
Further remarks on the urgency of a transition will follow along with the ways through which this could be carried out.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
