Blockchain: un nuovo modo per rendere più sicura la tracciabilità alimentare.

DLT (Distributed Ledger Technologies) is a series of technologies based on decentralized registers, of which the Blockchain is a particular form. The Blockchain is an immutable and decentralized digital register and it’s able to store data records.Currently, this particular form of technology is used more in the financial world for the exchange of currency, for making each transaction transparent and visible to all the people. In addition to this, the Blockchain can also be used in other sectors, such as fashion, the automotive, artistic and cultural sectors and also in the agri-food sector. Its use would make each process transaction more transparent and immutable, minimizing the risk of fraud and counterfeiting, thus also enhancing the quality of individual products.

Le DLT (Distributed Ledger Technologies) sono una serie di tecnologie fondate su registri decentralizzati, di cui Blockchain non è che una forma particolare. La Blockchain è un registro digitale immutabile e decentralizzato in grado di memorizzare record di dati. Questa particolare forma di tecnologia, attualmente, viene utilizzata maggiormente nel mondo finanziario, per lo scambio di valuta, rendendo ogni transazione trasparente e visibile a tutti. Oltre a questo, la Blockchain può essere anche utilizzata in altri settori, come quello della moda, il settore automobilistico, artistico e culturale ed anche in quello agroalimentare. Il suo utilizzo permetterebbe di rendere ogni transazione di processo più trasparente ed immutabile, riducendo al minimo il rischio di frode e di contraffazione, andando anche così a valorizzare la qualità dei singoli prodotti.
