Translating children’s literature about Black Lives Matter into Italian: a proposal

This paper examines translation, and more specifically children’s literature translation. It will start with giving general information about translation (what it is, difficulties and translation techniques) in chapter one, then chapter two will focus on the activity of translation of two children books about Black Lives Matter and finally, the last chapter will analyse the method used to do the translation activity focusing the attention on the strategies and techniques used and difficulties that came upon while doing the activity considering the topic the books are about, which is usually not related to children and may be difficult so explain to them.
