Costruire il regime fascista. Sull'uso politico dell'architettura a Padova.

"Building the fascist regime" was born by combining my passion for history with my passion for art. I belive that that the most successful works of art are those that fit into the political debate, so I wanted to investigate the relationship between the fascist regime and architecture, in particular by analyzing the city of Padua. The first part of this paper is an introduction to the topic that reflects on the definition of "regime art". The second part is a catalog that presents a series of buildings built during the "Ventennio" and still present today, in particular focusing on the Paduan "Case del Fascio".

"Costruire il regime fascista" nasce unendo la mia passione per la storia a quella per l'arte. Convinto che le opere d'arte meglio riuscite siano quelle che si inseriscono nel dibattito politico ho voluto indagare sul rapporto tra regime fascista e architettura, in particolare analizzando la città di Padova. La prima parte dell'elaborato introduce l'argomento e riflette sulla definizione di "arte di regime". La seconda parte è un catalogo che presenta una serie di edifici costruiti durante il ventennio e ancora oggi presenti, in particolare soffermandosi sulle "Case del Fascio" padovane.
