IL DIVARIO DI GENERE NEL MERCATO DEL LAVORO ITALIANO: IL GENDER PAY GAP E LO SCENARIO IN VENETO

In this paper I wanted to talk about the female figure in the labor market, focusing on the situation in Italy and Veneto, and then focusing on the problem of the gender pay gap. In the first chapter I brought a quick historical excursion of what was the struggle of women for equal rights, then I talked about what the gender gap is and which areas it influences. In the second chapter I talked about which are the limits to gender equality in the italian labor market, and beyond. In the third chapter I focused on the problem of the gender pay gap in particular in the Italian and Veneto scenario. Finally in the last chapter I exposed the plans, policies and some hints on national laws for reducing the gender gap.

In questo elaborato ho voluto parlare della figura femminile nel mercato del lavoro concentrandomi sulla situazione in Italia e, più in dettaglio, in Veneto, e concentrandomi poi sul problema del gender pay gap. Nel primo capitolo ho portato un veloce excursus storico di quella che è stata la lotta delle donne per la parità dei diritti, ho parlato poi di cos'è il divario di genere e quali ambiti influenza. Nel secondo capitolo ho parlato invece di quali sono i limiti alla parità di genere nel mercato del lavoro italiano, e non solo. Nel terzo capitolo mi sono invece concentrata sul problema del gender pay gap in particolare nello scenario italiano e Veneto. Infine nell'ultimo capitolo ho esposto i piani, le politiche e alcuni cenni sulle leggi nazionali per la riduzione del divario di genere.
