In the context of process and outcome studies in psychotherapy, this study makes use of the construct of "interaction structures". They are recurring patterns of interaction between therapist and patient that influence each other. The experience, recognition and understanding of the meaning of such repetitive interactions are a fundamental component of the therapeutic action that emphasizes the experience of the patient and the therapist. A single-case research model is described based on the observation of these interaction structures signed through the application of the Psycotherapy Process Q-set proposed by Enrico E. Jones which allowed to observe how the interaction patterns between patient and therapist are unique and how these patterns relate to therapy outcome.

Abstract
In the context of process and outcome studies in psychotherapy, this study makes use of the construct of "interaction structures". They are recurring patterns of interaction between therapist and patient that influence each other. The experience, recognition and understanding of the meaning of such repetitive interactions are a fundamental component of the therapeutic action that emphasizes the experience of the patient and the therapist. A single-case research model is described based on the observation of these interaction structures signed through the application of the Psycotherapy Process Q-set proposed by Enrico E. Jones which allowed to observe how the interaction patterns between patient and therapist are unique and how these patterns relate to therapy outcome.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
