In the ages, beauty could be expressed in many ways, it has been looked at from a subjective point of view. However, with the advent of the modern age, this vision began to transform, becoming a very precise look. When the material coercion designed for women has loosened, society has created a model of beauty, a standard, which prompts them to want to fall back into the imposed standards. This model was created by society to keep women busy; the ideal of beauty keeps them engaged in the continuous pursuit of unattainable perfection, making them constantly feel inadequate. The need, to this day, becomes that of rethinking beauty in order to be able to free yourself from all the boundaries that have been imposed on women in recent centuries. There is the need to look at it, not as a condition imposed by society, but as a personal path.

Nel corso delle epoche la bellezza si è potuta esprimere in molteplici modi, la si è guardata da un punto di vista soggettivo. Tuttavia, con l’avvento dell’età moderna, questa visione si è iniziata a trasformare, diventando uno sguardo ben preciso. Nel momento in cui le coercizioni materiali pensate per le donne si sono allentate, la società ha creato un modello di bellezza, uno standard, che le spinge a voler rientrare nei canoni imposti. Tale modello è stato creato dalla società per continuare a tenere occupate le donne; l’ideale di bellezza le tiene impegnate con la continua ricerca di una perfezione irraggiungibile, facendole sentire costantemente inadeguate. Ad oggi il bisogno diventa quello di ripensare la bellezza per potersi liberare da tutti i confini che sono stati imposti alle donne negli ultimi secoli. C’è la necessità di guardarla, non come una condizione imposta dalla società, ma come un percorso personale.
