Progettazione, realizzazione ed implementazione del cablaggio di una vettura di Formula SAE

Introduction to Formula SAE, with particular reference to the Race UP Combustion team of the University of Padua. Introduction to the team's electronics department, department responsibilities, projects developed, results achieved. In particular, the design and implementation of the vehicle's wiring is studied in detail, which is the most important task of the electronics department. All the phases that were necessary for its realization are described: idea, design, production, testing phase and, finally, implementation in the car and test on the track. Furthermore, all the design choices, the compromises that were necessary, the problems encountered and the solutions implemented are described. Finally, conclusions are drawn by comparing the wiring of the 2021/2022 season to that of past seasons, especially considering weight and reliability.

Introduzione alla Formula SAE, facendo riferimento, in particolar modo, al team Race UP Combustion dell'Università degli Studi di Padova. Introduzione al reparto di elettronica del team, responsabilità del reparto, progetti sviluppati, risultati ottenuti. In particolar modo viene approfondito il progetto e la realizzazione del cablaggio della vettura, compito di maggior importanza del reparto di elettronica. Si descrivono tutte le fasi che sono state necessarie alla sua realizzazione: idea, progettazione, produzione, fase di testing ed, infine, implementazione in vettura e prova su pista. Vengono descritti, inoltre, tutte le scelte progettuali, i compromessi che sono stati necessari, le problematiche riscontrate e le soluzioni apportate. Infine vengono tratte le conclusioni confrontando il cablaggio della stagione 2021/2022 a quello delle stagioni passate, considerando soprattutto peso ed affidabilità.
