In Italy the services of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry have received a higher number of requests for support from young people, especially from adolescents, during the last decade. Taking charge of all these requests is not simple for the Italian Health System, which must increasingly adapt to the needs of new gene-rations. The introduction of new tools such as those of the CANS family (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) can support a new vision of the Individual Therapeutic Educational Project in the field of adolescent mental health. In this context, the role of the Professional Educator will be studied. In particular, it will be examined how he can be a reference figure for the teenager and a health professional able to introduce the aforementioned tools whose aim is to promote an active participation of the user for a positive change.

Abstract
In Italy the services of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry have received a higher number of requests for support from young people, especially from adolescents, during the last decade. Taking charge of all these requests is not simple for the Italian Health System, which must increasingly adapt to the needs of new gene-rations. The introduction of new tools such as those of the CANS family (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) can support a new vision of the Individual Therapeutic Educational Project in the field of adolescent mental health. In this context, the role of the Professional Educator will be studied. In particular, it will be examined how he can be a reference figure for the teenager and a health professional able to introduce the aforementioned tools whose aim is to promote an active participation of the user for a positive change.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
