Object of the work are the creative writing workshops and in particular the one created by the American writer David Foster Wallace. The work includes elements of creative writing - history and evolution - of David Foster Wallace's experience as a teacher and of the students who participated in his courses. The work also aims to investigate the critical issues present in the teaching of creative writing, both in the classrooms coordinated by Wallace and in those of other teachers, including Italian and recent history.

Oggetto del lavoro sono i laboratori di scrittura creativa e in particolare quella realizzati dallo scrittore americano David Foster Wallace. Il lavoro comprende elementi alla scrittura creativa - storia ed evoluzione - all'esperienza come docente di David Foster Wallace e a quella degli studenti che parteciparono ai suoi corsi. Il lavoro si pone, altresì, obiettivo di indagare le criticità presenti nell'insegnamento della scrittura creativa, sia nelle aule coordinate da Wallace sia in quelle di altri docenti, anche italiani e della storia recente.
