This dissertation describes and analyzes the clinical history of an 11-year-old boy, A., who was diagnosed with reading and writing learning disorders at the age of 8. A. was diagnosed with language delay at the age of 4 and subsequently presented reading and writing difficulties. This dissertation provides a theoretical description of specific learning disorders (SLDs) and reconstructs A.'s clinical history and administered tests. A.'s development is broken down into motor, cognitive, linguistic, adaptive, and scholastic categories. All the information is taken from A.'s health report of 2020, which includes a phoniatric visit and a neuropsychiatric visit. The dissertation concludes with a description of A.'s after-school support using compensatory tools, with the main tool being a computer software. This dissertation provides insights into the clinical history of children with specific learning disorders and highlights the importance of tailored after-school support.
