The JuNEX study aims to verify the feasibility of an internet-based self-help intervention of Behavioural Activation among pregnant women experiencing mild to moderate depressive symptoms. The research is based on the therapeutic approach of BATD-R, which aims to support the depressed patient in improving mood and building resilience by focusing on their values and daily activities through which these values are realized. The BATD-R treatment states that daily actions and behaviours are the most concrete expression of the values of an individual. The therapeutic work revolves around identifying actions that the patient considers important to express their values. Aligned with BATD-R, the study proposes a six-week core program, with an additional three voluntary weeks, during which patients have the opportunity to view informative modules on the Moodle application. Each week involves engaging with a module that facilitates gradual changes in habits and behaviours contributing to the development of distressing situations, thus enhancing awareness of one's actions. A unique aspect of the project is the distinction between the Guided version, which includes additional support from the human guide "Joy," and the Non-Guided version. Therefore, in addition to an improvement in depressive symptoms, differences between the two intervention groups can be expected. Furthermore, the study places significant importance on analyzing User Engagement, platform Usability, and how these factors might influence the effectiveness of the intervention.

Abstract
Furthermore, the study places significant importance on analyzing User Engagement, platform Usability, and how these factors might influence the effectiveness of the intervention.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
