This study examines the role of the main socio-psychological attributes involved in populist attitudes and in the choice of populist voting. In particular, the relationship between conspiratorial thinking and populist ideology at the individual level (demand-side) is addressed. A study is then proposed on an Italian sample (N =1000) with the aim of verifying the evidence found in the literature and confirming the link between the two variables.
