Abstract
The emotional relationship that binds a mother to her child. A relationship that can sometimes become an obsession of the caregiver who is no longer the one who takes care of the child's well-being but becomes the one who deprives him of this condition. The present work starts from the study of Munchausen's syndrome by proxy to investigate its symptoms and recurrence and how this is understood by the language of mass communication that is more open than any scientific treatises. In particular, we will focus on the meaning that the audiovisual gives of the love-obsession combination between mother and child both through films for television and through TV series, the means adopted to raise awareness of this topic and make it "accessible ”. The study comes from the experience carried out during my stage in a mother-child educational community which will be explained in the last part of this work: the love of a mother lead by the fear that her daughter may become emotionally involved to someone else and move away it can become an obsession for her and, in particular and extreme cases, it can lead the mother to induce physical discomfort in her daughterFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
