This thesis constitutes a single-case study within the framework of process-outcome research in psychotherapy, aimed at exploring how the referential process unfolds in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) compared to classical dynamic psychotherapy. The assessment of referential activity in the analyzed therapy is conducted using the textual analysis software I-DAAP. The outcomes and treatment dynamics confirm the effectiveness of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy in modulating and accelerating the referential process. This technique is a brief approach but, at the same time, capable of generating significant changes in the patient within a limited timeframe compared to traditional psychotherapy.

Abstract
This thesis constitutes a single-case study within the framework of process-outcome research in psychotherapy, aimed at exploring how the referential process unfolds in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) compared to classical dynamic psychotherapy. The assessment of referential activity in the analyzed therapy is conducted using the textual analysis software I-DAAP. The outcomes and treatment dynamics confirm the effectiveness of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy in modulating and accelerating the referential process. This technique is a brief approach but, at the same time, capable of generating significant changes in the patient within a limited timeframe compared to traditional psychotherapy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
