The following thesis aims to conduct a review of the tools and investigations to measure worker engagement in the different companies. Initially, the phenomena related to the change of workers and people at work will be introduced, and how they influence the respective work dynamics, making it necessary for companies to assess and enhance employee engagement. Subsequently, the concept of work engagement will be introduced, explaining its origin and outlining the multiple facets it has acquired, emphasizing the importance for companies to measure it appropriately. Finally, the tools for its measurement will be introduced, analysing the main ones through dedicated studies and research, also presenting reflections on the adequacy of such tools in relation to the new dynamics of the labour market and comparing them with new tools, questioning whether they can replace traditional ones.
La prova finale in questione ha l’obiettivo di condurre una rassegna degli strumenti e delle indagini per misurare l’engagement dei lavoratori in azienda. Inizialmente saranno introdotti i fenomeni relativi al cambiamento dei lavoratori delle persone al lavoro e di come essi influenzino le rispettive dinamiche lavorative, rendendo necessaria per le aziende l’importanza di valutare e potenziare l’engagement dei dipendenti. Successivamente verrà introdotto il concetto di work engagement, spiegandone l’origine e delineando le molteplici sfaccettature che esso ha acquisito, ribadendo l’importanza per le aziende di misurarlo in maniera appropriata. Infine, verranno introdotti gli strumenti per la sua misurazione, analizzando i principali attraverso studi e ricerche dedicati, presentando inoltre riflessioni sull’adeguatezza di tali strumenti rispetto alle nuove dinamiche del mercato del lavoro e confrontando gli stessi con nuovi strumenti chiedendosi se essi possono essere sostituiti a quelli tradizionali.
