The main objective of this thesis is the identification through remote sensing of Roman roadways in the area of San Basilio, and in nearby locations, in order to better understand the relationship between the findings emerged over time and the route of a major Roman road. After the analysis of data retrieved through the observation of aerial and satellite photos and the cataloging of the area's finds, maps were created, through the use of QGIS software, showing possible roadways and georeferencing archaeological finds. The data were combined and correlated with each other in order to create maps highlighting the relationship between road axis and Roman archaeological evidence.
