By analysing the main intergroup theories, the paper will focus on the critical analysis of the hypothesis that prejudice is innate. Next, the main factors that contribute to the development of negative attitudes towards out-groups in pre-school age will be illustrated. Finally, we will describe the naive theories of adults.

Tramite l'analisi delle principali teorie intergruppo, l'elaborato verterà sull'analisi critica dell'ipotesi secondo cui il pregiudizio sia innato. Proseguendo, saranno illustrati i principali fattori che contribuiscono allo sviluppo di atteggiamenti negativi nei confronti di gruppi esterni, in età prescolare. Infine, descriveremo le teorie ingenue degli adulti.
