As a result of modern waste management practices, landfill leachate is one of the most significant by-products. The study examines the complex nature of leachate, its environmental impacts, and the necessity of efficient treatment strategies. It examines a variety of treatment methods, including biological, chemical, and physical methods, to determine how effective, applicable, and sustainable they are. As part of the thesis, real-world case studies demonstrate the challenges and successes of implementing these technologies. Lifecycle analyses are also used to assess the environmental impact of treatment methodologies over time. By focusing on sustainable and effective approaches to landfill leachate management, this work aims to provide valuable insights to researchers and practitioners in environmental engineering.

Abstract
As a result of modern waste management practices, landfill leachate is one of the most significant by-products. The study examines the complex nature of leachate, its environmental impacts, and the necessity of efficient treatment strategies. It examines a variety of treatment methods, including biological, chemical, and physical methods, to determine how effective, applicable, and sustainable they are. As part of the thesis, real-world case studies demonstrate the challenges and successes of implementing these technologies. Lifecycle analyses are also used to assess the environmental impact of treatment methodologies over time. By focusing on sustainable and effective approaches to landfill leachate management, this work aims to provide valuable insights to researchers and practitioners in environmental engineering.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
