Is it possible to transform the teaching of Art History into an active learning opportunity? This paper aims to answer this question, trying to give a view as complete as possible on the two main protagonists: Art History as a discipline in Italy and Active Learning. In a first part the discipline will be presented, how it has been formalised in Italy and what its prerogatives should be. In a second part, an attempt will be made to get to the bottom of the main dimensions of active learning: the teachers, the tools useful for effective planning, the learners. What then happens in the virtuous encounter between the two? In the second part we will address this issue, offering international insights not only for reflection but also for practice, with concrete examples that have become Best Practice. A research on the whole Italian territory will then help us to answer the questions of this work in a timely manner, providing important and motivating hints for the future.

Abstract
A research on the whole Italian territory will then help us to answer the questions of this work in a timely manner, providing important and motivating hints for the future.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
