Spazi lisci e striati: Trasgressività e frontiera nel "Poeta a New York" di Federico Garcia Lorca

The work deals with the theme of the metropolis and its injustices, in stark contrast to the cultural roots of the people it oppresses. This study aims to use geographical categories such as transgressiveness, the frontier, and the smooth and striated spaces of philosophers Félix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze as tools to analyze the various compositions. The conclusion to which the thesis led reflects the importance of using specific and appropriate tools when dealing with literary texts and identifies literary geography and geocriticism as perfect magnifying glasses for understanding complex texts such as the "Poet in New York."

Il "Poeta a New York" di Federico Garcia Lorca è un'opera complessa e di difficile interpretazione, a causa dei numerosi simboli evocati che hanno sempre un significato plurimo e complesso. L'opera tratta il tema della metropoli e delle sue ingiustizie, in contrasto netto con le radici culturali delle popolazioni che opprime. Questo studio si propone di utilizzare delle categorie geografiche come la trasgressività, la frontiera, gli spazi lisci e striati dei filosofi Félix Guattari e Gilles Deleuze come strumenti per analizzare i vari componimenti. La conclusione a cui ha portato la tesi riflette l'importanza di servirsi di strumenti specifici ed adeguati quando si affronta un testo letterario ed identifica la geografia letteraria e la geocritica come delle perfette lenti di ingrandimento per la comprensione di testi complessi quale il "Poeta a New York".
