The thesis aims to present and delve into the analysis of the device, concept, and debt relationship offered by Nietzsche: by reconstructing Nietzsche's proposed genealogical analysis, the text will attempt to show how debt, translated into faith in the Christian context, plays a fundamental role in the production and exercise of new techniques for governing humanity. Following an initial chapter necessary for the introduction of Nietzschean philosophy, the text will proceed to the comparison with the theme of the text: debt. Within the second chapter, the genealogical descent will be highlighted, which from an original, rudimentary, and primitive debt relationship leads to the explosion of the sense of debt within the Christian context. Debt translated into faith plays a fundamental role in the application of new techniques for governing humanity, for the development of Christian pastoral power: debt translated into faith produces a subject whose highest virtue is obedience. In the third and final chapter, the text will compare Nietzsche with the ultimate ascetic priest: Saint Paul. In the relevant pages, an attempt will be made to show how, in the practice of preaching, Saint Paul managed to implement all the transformations and falsifications necessary to satisfy his need for power: the ascetic priest type described in the second chapter becomes flesh and blood through the comparison with the true inventor of Christianity – Saint Paul.

Abstract
In the relevant pages, an attempt will be made to show how, in the practice of preaching, Saint Paul managed to implement all the transformations and falsifications necessary to satisfy his need for power: the ascetic priest type described in the second chapter becomes flesh and blood through the comparison with the true inventor of Christianity – Saint Paul.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
