The present thesis explores the activities of rehabilitation and future orientation proposed within prison facilities. It analyzes theoretically grounded interventions proposed in the literature, focusing on indicators of effectiveness. Traditional approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) are compared with innovative methodologies such as artistic activities, therapy with dogs, yoga, and meditation. Finally, the thesis goes beyond approaches centered on "repair" or "removal," exploring the latest trends in positive psychology. It delves into interventions that consider emotional and social skills, distress, well-being, coping abilities, the development of positive identity, and resources. Among the interventions analyzed, the Good Lives Model, which promotes well-being and happiness through the enhancement of life skills, emerges as a key theoretical model. Through a critical approach, the work aims to analyze how this area of activity has embraced the latest international guidelines on psychological rehabilitation. It also aims to reflect on the objectives guiding psychological interventions and the space dedicated to future planning. Based on the analysis, a reflection on the role of psychologists in the prison context will be proposed, and potential future perspectives will be outlined.

Abstract
Based on the analysis, a reflection on the role of psychologists in the prison context will be proposed, and potential future perspectives will be outlined.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
