This paper analyzes spirituality in the workplace, with particular reference to the medical sector and home care. Initially, the operational setting of home care is defined, focusing in particular on the declination of integrated home care (ADI) and its peculiarities. Subsequently, analyzing the debate on the definition of Spirituality in the workplace, we focused mainly on the part of spirituality that does not include religiosity. Spirituality was defined by the pioneers as being divided into three main components: inner life, meaning and purpose, and sense of connection and community. The ultimate aim of the paper is to analyze these components within the ADI system and possibly understand if they can be implemented, in order to make the working environment a place that also responds to the spiritual needs of workers.
La spiritualità è stata definita dai pionieri come suddivisa in tre principali componenti: l'inner life, meaning e purpose e sense of connection e community.
