Immigration presents advantages and difficulties, particularly when raising children in a different sociocultural setting. This procedure frequently generates substantial emotional and psychological distress that impacts parenting behaviors. This thesis explores the personal experiences of eight Iranian immigrant parents, analyzing the influence of their attachment types on their parenting within the context of immigration. Data is obtained via semi-structured interviews and examined using Phenomenological Analysis to comprehend the parenting difficulties and tactics employed by the participants. The results are anticipated to provide a valuable understanding of these difficulties and propose measures to assist these parents in developing stronger emotional connections with their children in a different cultural environment.
