Educazione interculturale nei servizi educativi per la prima infanzia: un approfondimento legato alla mia esperienza di tirocinio

In this Final Degree Report, I will deal with the theme of interculture, focusing on how it can be addressed within early childhood education services. In order to make a reflection as complete and exhaustive as possible, I will deepen the theme based on observations and data collected during my internship experience. The current social context is characterized by ethnic and cultural pluralism, and this is also reflected in the educational spaces of children, which is fundamental can gradually be educated in comparison with diversity, in an intercultural perspective. Inside the nest in which I did my internship experience, the interculture was chosen as a background supplement for the year 2023-24, and this motivated me even more to immerse myself in this theme, given the possibility to live it fully and to analyze it through the observations to the children and the interviews addressed to the educators of the structure. It emerged that the two main keys to accompany children to familiarize themselves with the theme of interculture are illustrated books and music, fundamental therefore to facilitate intercultural paths for the 0-3 year old.

Nella presente Relazione Finale di Laurea tratterò il tema dell’intercultura focalizzando l’attenzione su come può essere affrontata all’interno dei servizi educativi per la prima infanzia. Al fine di compiere una riflessione il più possibile completa ed esaustiva, approfondirò la tematica basandomi su osservazioni e dati raccolti durante la mia esperienza di tirocinio. Il contesto sociale attuale è caratterizzato da pluralismo etnico e culturale, e ciò si riflette anche negli spazi educativi dei più piccoli, che è fondamentale possano pian piano essere educati al confronto con la diversità, in ottica interculturale. All’interno del nido nel quale ho svolto la mia esperienza di tirocinio, è stata scelta proprio l’intercultura come sfondo integratore per l’anno 2023-24, e questo mi ha motivata ancor di più ad immergermi in questa tematica, data la possibilità di viverla pienamente e di analizzarla attraverso le osservazioni ai bambini e le interviste rivolte alle educatrici della struttura. È emerso che le due chiavi principali per accompagnare i bambini a familiarizzare con il tema dell’intercultura sono albi illustrati e musica, fondamentali quindi per facilitare i percorsi interculturali per la fascia 0-3 anni.
