This thesis explores the intricate relationship between the ambitious bio district project and the rural area of the Seven Municipalities of the Asiago Plateau. The study seeks to undertake a multifaceted analysis between the implementation of the complex bio district model and the plateau area by attempting to explore the different dynamics in place and that can be created, delivering possible strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and weaknesses with respect to the relationship. The research begins by conducting a literature review regarding what organic is and of the trend of certified production, especially related to the Italian territory. The insights continue by showing the possible roles of districts in the development of different types of disadvantaged areas. It moves through various dimensions, including the evolution of organic district regulations in Italy and Veneto and policies supporting these projects. In parallel, this study develops the empirical side of the research by examining the territory of the Asiago Plateau. It examines the socioeconomic characteristics of the region, the territory and its productions, and tourism related to the area. Finally, an analysis of the status and prospects of the "organic plateau" district is developed. To gather information and perspectives, targeted discussions were held with practitioners in the field such as companies, local governments, stakeholders, and political officials in the area. These interviews provided valuable information where the analysis could be based. The responses finally provided an opportunity to be able to analyze and understand in depth the complex and intricate process between the implementation of the bio-district model, and the opinion of local residents, for sustainable development of the area.

Abstract
The responses finally provided an opportunity to be able to analyze and understand in depth the complex and intricate process between the implementation of the bio-district model, and the opinion of local residents, for sustainable development of the area.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
