The paper argues the consumeristic approach typical of consumption society, indagating in particular about the unsustainability of fast fashion area, in response to which a more conscious attitude to consumption is presented. The search of the sustainable clothing, therefore good, clean and right for oneself, for the environment and for people, finds a solution in emerging Italian companies, which have care of nature, consumer health and ethical work. Fashion companies’ sustainability strategies included in this qualitative research are quite different but there is one root in common: the honest will to make more transparent, ethical and sustainable fashion, with always higher and higher sustainable aims.
