ABSTRACT In this thesis project the following research question is posed: "How should the trainer plan and manage the group, adapting everything based on some variables, in training meetings of different sizes (small, medium, large groups)?" The research focuses on the analysis of the strategies and methodologies implemented by trainers in personalizing training meetings, focusing on how the planning and management of groups can be adapted depending on the size of the group and specific context variables. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, based on semi-structured interviews conducted with trainers operating in educational and corporate contexts (with whom I was able to come into contact thanks to my internship experience). With these interviews we aim to collect the experiences and strategies of the trainers in personalizing the training meetings, also trying to highlight any critical issues that emerge in these contexts and the consequent solutions adopted. The theoretical framework of reference is Active Learning, a form of learning that involves collaborators personally, as they are called to active participation. Active Learning helps you understand how trainers can facilitate effective learning through personalization techniques that respond to participants' specific needs and group dynamics. In the final part, the results of the interviews will be presented, with particular attention to observing the planning and management of the groups. The delivery methods will be considered based on the size of the group and other relevant variables, such as the level of experience of the participants and the specific training objectives. The theoretical study in the field, combined with the analysis of semi-structured interviews, will allow us to answer the research question, offering a general vision of how the trainer's role is central in making training meetings full of potential, all through customization.
