Starting from the assumption that it isn’t possible to find a universal formula of correct distance, the objective of the thesis is to identify the criteria and motivations that push an educator, who works with people with disabilities within a Social Cooperative, to prefer the use of a predominantly distance and/or proximity educational style. Starting from a conceptual clarification of the terms education and educational relationship, we continue by examining the pedagogical antinomies: autonomy-freedom and proximity-distance. What is meant by disability will then be clarified and the advantages and disadvantages of excessive closeness and distance in the educational relationship will be analysed. Finally, in the last chapter, the interviews regarding the issues addressed in the previous chapters with the educators of a Social Cooperative in the Padua area will be reported and interpreted.

Abstract
Finally, in the last chapter, the interviews regarding the issues addressed in the previous chapters with the educators of a Social Cooperative in the Padua area will be reported and interpreted.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
