This thesis aims to explore the implementation of the Scuola 4.0 Plan, focusing on innovative aspects related to advanced learning environments, emerging methodologies, and teacher training in digital competencies for learning. The research approach combines theoretical foundations with a case study of a comprehensive institute that has adopted the provisions of the Scuola 4.0 Plan. In the first chapter, we introduce the Scuola 4.0 Plan, contextualizing it within the legislative framework and illustrating its European and national reference points. We also delve into the history of technological plans in education, with particular attention to innovative learning environments. These environments pose both challenges and opportunities, requiring the integration of physical and digital spaces, flexibility in design, and the use of methodologies and technologies to create a learning ecosystem aligned with the Scuola 4.0 Plan. The second chapter emphasizes the importance of research, outlining the investigative path, objectives, and tools used for data collection and analysis. In the third chapter, we focus on a specific comprehensive institute, discussing the actions taken to implement the Scuola 4.0 Plan and explaining the motivations behind these decisions. Additionally, we examine teachers’ perspectives, assessing their experiences, perceptions, and understanding of the changes introduced by the Scuola 4.0 Plan. A self-assessment questionnaire helps evaluate the digital competencies of primary school teachers necessary to meet the requirements of the plan. Finally, in the concluding chapter, we present reflections arising from the analysis and draw conclusions regarding the realization of the Scuola 4.0 Plan within an institutional context
La presente tesi si propone di esplorare l’implementazione del Piano Scuola 4.0, concentrandosi sugli aspetti innovativi legati agli ambienti di apprendimento avanzati, alle metodologie emergenti e alla formazione dei docenti alle competenze digitali per l’apprendimento. L’approccio di ricerca adottato combina una base teorica con uno studio di caso su un istituto comprensivo che ha adottato le disposizioni del Piano Scuola 4.0. Nel primo capitolo, introduco il Piano Scuola 4.0, contestualizzandolo nel quadro legislativo e illustrando il suo riferimento europeo e nazionale. Esploro anche la storia dei piani tecnologici nella didattica, con particolare attenzione agli ambienti di apprendimento innovativi. Questi ultimi rappresentano una sfida e un’opportunità, poiché richiedono l’integrazione di spazi fisici e digitali, la flessibilità degli ambienti e l’utilizzo di metodologie e tecnologie per creare un ecosistema di apprendimento allineato con il Piano Scuola 4.0. Il secondo capitolo mette in luce l’importanza della ricerca, delineando il percorso di indagine, gli obiettivi e gli strumenti utilizzati per la raccolta e l’analisi dei dati. Nel terzo capitolo, concentro l’attenzione su un istituto comprensivo specifico, esponendo le azioni intraprese per implementare il Piano Scuola 4.0 e illustrando le motivazioni alla base di tali decisioni. Infine, nel capitolo conclusivo, presento le riflessioni emerse dall’analisi e trarrò conclusioni sulla realizzazione del Piano Scuola 4.0 in un contesto istituzionale.
