Background: Female urinary incontinence is a disorder that can significantly impact the quality of life of women who suffer from it and cause discomfort that can affect participation in activities and the general well-being of the person. Physiotherapeutic treatment plays a key role in the prevention and management of urinary incontinence and aims to address the disorder in an active way, in order to allow greater autonomy in daily activities. Aim of the study: To investigate the effect of physiotherapy treatment on symptoms and quality of life and the satisfaction with the use of Biofeedback in a sample of patients who had access to the pelvic floor rehabilitation outpatient clinic belonging to the U.O.C. Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Unit at Schiavonia Hospital. Materials and methods: The study was carried out through the use of King's Health Questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire was administered at the beginning and at the end of the treatment in order to study the variation of urinary symptoms and disorders in relation to the performed treatment. The interviews were carried out at the end of the rehabilitation period in order to investigate patients' perception of the treatment and the use of the Biofeedback machine. The analysis of the questionnaires was carried out by studying the variation of the answers through a percentage calculation. The method of Attride Stirling's Thematic Networks was used for the qualitative analysis of the interviews. Results: The treatment, including the Biofeedback technique, received positive overall feedback from the participants and was effective in improving urinary complaints and their influence on overall quality of life. Conclusions: The results show a favorable impact on participants' symptoms, general well-being and ability to participate in activities and social life.
