This thesis examines the main dietary errors responsible for the development of diseases and metabolic disorders in dogs, using an approach based on real clinical cases. The aim is to understand the causes of dietary disorders and their impact on canine health, highlighting how unbalanced or inadequate diets can trigger pathological symptoms. Through a critical review of scientific literature and the analysis of clinical cases, a comprehensive understanding of the impact of dietary errors is provided, with a particular focus on digestive physiology and the role of the intestinal microbiota. The thesis explores conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and gastrointestinal disorders, demonstrating how corrective nutritional interventions can significantly improve the health and quality of life of dogs, reducing the need for medication and using diet as both a preventive and therapeutic tool.
