In educational contexts increasingly characterized by the construction of barriers that limit inclusion, this thesis explores the use of music as a tool for inclusion and participation. The project is based on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) model, which ensures accessible and flexible education, addressing the diverse needs of students. The research involved specialists in the fields of music and education for deaf individuals, who provided effective methods and strategies that guided the development of an experimental project consisting of eight music lessons for elementary school children. Through the study of concrete cases and the application of practices suggested by the experts, the thesis demonstrates how music can break down many barriers, foster personal expression, and stimulate inclusive learning. The results highlight the potential of music as a universal language to promote social cohesion and create a more inclusive and equitable school environment.

Abstract
The results highlight the potential of music as a universal language to promote social cohesion and create a more inclusive and equitable school environment.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
