Abstract: Research suggests that the consumption of zero-calorie beverages containing artificial sweeteners may alter the composition of gut microbiota, potentially leading to negative effects on metabolism and an increased risk of metabolic disorders. These findings present new challenges for the food industry, which must address the growing demand for sugar-free products while considering the importance of preserving gut health and metabolic balance.
Abstract: Le ricerche indicano che il consumo di bevande zero calorie con edulcoranti artificiali può modificare la composizione del microbiota intestinale, con possibili effetti negativi sul metabolismo e sul rischio di sviluppare disturbi metabolici. Queste scoperte pongono nuove sfide per l’industria alimentare, che deve rispondere alla crescente richiesta di prodotti senza zucchero, tenendo conto dell’importanza di preservare la salute intestinale e l’equilibrio metabolico.
