Cameroon, often referred to as "Africa in miniature," boasts an extraordinary diversity of languages, reflecting its complex cultural and ethnic mosaic. This thesis explores the multicultural linguistic landscape of Cameroon, examines the challenges facing these languages, and proposes sustainable strategies for their conservation. It draws on historical, sociolinguistic, and policy perspectives to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current state of Cameroonian languages and the necessary measures to preserve this rich linguistic heritage for future generations.
