This paper, starting from the analysis of the most recent international scientific evidence, identifies in the conditions of Planetary Health and, ultimately, in the dominant socioeconomic model, the main determinants of global human health, especially Mental Health. The text tries to address this relationship by exploring the physiological mechanisms involved, causal and mediating, through the study of the bio-medical-integrated Psycho Neuro Endocrine Immunological Model (PNEI) and through the study of recent literature on the Microbiota and the Microbiome. Finally, as a moderation of this report, both the recent intergovernmental and European policies in this regard are examined, which support funding (public and private) aimed at psycho-educational projects, based on evidence and on the community; and a series of strategies that can be implemented and promoted also in the psychological field within the psycho-educational interventions themselves. In conclusion, therefore, it is proposed that the profession promote Mental Health and base its psycho-educational interventions on such evidence.

Abstract
In conclusion, therefore, it is proposed that the profession promote Mental Health and base its psycho-educational interventions on such evidence.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
