This paper addresses the issue of returning to work in the situation where both parents work. After an analysis of the evolution of the parental role and parental leave, an in-depth overview of work-life balance policies. In reference literature is then examined, in particular some theories, models and psychological implications when both parents are workers. In addition, the return-to-work practices implemented by companies are analysed to work implemented by companies are analysed. Finally, the paper proposes suggestions and strategies for the future to improve this situation with the aim of promote an increasingly facilitated return to work.
Questo elaborato affronta il tema del rientro al lavoro nella situazione in cui entrambi i genitori lavorano. Dopo un’analisi dell’evoluzione del ruolo genitoriale e dei congedi parentali, viene approfondita una panoramica sulle politiche di conciliazione vita familiare e lavorativa. In seguito viene esaminata la letteratura di riferimento, in particolare alcune teorie, modelli e implicazioni psicologiche quando entrambi i genitori sono lavoratori. Inoltre, vengono analizzate le pratiche che favoriscono il rientro al lavoro messe in atto dalle aziende. Infine, l’elaborato propone suggerimenti e strategie per il futuro per migliorare questa situazione con l’intento di promuovere un rientro nel mondo del lavoro sempre più agevolato.
