Suicide is the second leading cause of unnatural death worldwide, making it essential to understand the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions aimed at reducing its risk. This thesis explores the phenomenon of suicidal behavior by analyzing, on one hand, direct interventions that explicitly address the issue of suicide with the patient, and on the other hand, indirect interventions focused on symptoms associated with suicide risk, such as depression, anxiety, or despair. Through a review of the literature and case studies, the thesis emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach that combines both types of interventions.

Abstract
Suicide is the second leading cause of unnatural death worldwide, making it essential to understand the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions aimed at reducing its risk. This thesis explores the phenomenon of suicidal behavior by analyzing, on one hand, direct interventions that explicitly address the issue of suicide with the patient, and on the other hand, indirect interventions focused on symptoms associated with suicide risk, such as depression, anxiety, or despair. Through a review of the literature and case studies, the thesis emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach that combines both types of interventions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
