The 20th century was signed by many key events, some negative and some positive ones; the most crucial ones were the two World Wars, which had an impact on all countries, civilians, and soldiers. It is essential to mention Virginia Woolf, who focused on the themes of war and trauma, death and grief in many of her works. Not only did she face trauma herself, with the early death of her mother and sister, and suffered the tyranny of her father as well, and like many other civilians was scarred by the war, but also, she managed to further explore it through the experiences of her characters, those who were signed by the effects of the war, and those who faced other traumatic events.
