Recent researches have highlighted the importance of the learning environment and the role that it plays in the child’s psychophysical and cognitive development. In particular, some studies have shown the significant contribution that the upland environment makes in enhancing and supporting the developments of competences such as autonomy and socialization and values such as inclusion, self-esteem, confidence in oneself and trust in others. This paper, specifically, aims to shed light on some experiences made in this field with children suffering from Autism Spectrum and how this environment can create some favourable conditions to the development of the aforementioned skills, while at the same time increasing personal and academic well-being.
Recenti ricerche hanno sottolineato l'importanza dell'ambiente di apprendimento e il ruolo che esso svolge nello sviluppo psicofisico e cognitivo del bambino. Alcuni studi, in particolare, hanno sottolineato il significativo contributo che l'ambiente montano svolge nel potenziare e supportare il raggiungimento di competenze come l'autonomia e la socialità e valori come l'inclusione, l'autostima e la fiducia in se stessi e negli altri. Il presente lavoro, nello specifico, vuole portare in luce alcune esperienze svolte in questo campo con bambini con Spettro dell'Autismo e come questo ambiente possa creare alcune condizioni favorevoli allo sviluppo delle suddette competenze, aumentando nel contempo il benessere scolastico e personale.
