Teoria di Maxwell in una cavità toroidale e azione della dualità SL(2,Z) sullo spettro energetico

In this work it will be first studied the behavoiur of the electromagnetic duality in Maxwell 4-d theory. Then, reducing the theory on a toroidal cavity and imposing Neumann, Dirichlet and more general conditions, the study will be focus on the energy spectrum of a free quantum particle. Eventually this process will be generalized to the SL(2,Z) group.
