This bibliographic review study explores the topic of emotional regulation in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), one of the most significant challenges affecting their ability to interact socially, adapt to changes and manage stressful or frustrating situations. In particular, the research focuses on Social Stories, an educational tool developed by Carol Gray, evaluating their effectiveness in supporting children with ASD in managing their emotions. Through an analysis of the scientific literature, studies investigating the impact of Social Stories on the recognition, expression and modulation of emotions in children with ASD are examined. The results highlight that such stories can facilitate greater emotional awareness, reduce problematic behaviors and improve the child's quality of life. Furthermore, the research highlights the key role of the professional educator in designing and implementing Social Stories, so that they are tailored to the individual needs of children. The conclusions suggest that the integration of this tool in educational care paths may represent an effective strategy to enhance emotional regulation skills in children with ASD. Keywords: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Stories, emotion regulation, professional educator, Carol Gray, educational strategies.
