Abstract
The theory of General Relativity represents the state of the art of our species' understanding of gravitational interaction, capable of describing it better than any other proposal. Peculiar and counterintuitive, it often leaves those who hear about it for the first time skeptical; in 1915, the year of its publication, even the scientific community itself was perplexed but was forced to reconsider as experimental confirmations emerged over time, leaving little room for interpretation. Nowadays, in general culture, this model is still often seen as something unreal, purely theoretical; what are some of the pieces of evidence that compel us to abandon Newton's old theory and accept Einstein's?| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
