In an ever-changing economic and technological environment, human capital has become a crucial factor for companies' competitive advantage. The paper explores the role of vocational training as a strategic tool for the development of organizational and individual competencies. Starting from the theoretical foundations of adult learning and theories of training transfer, it analyzes how companies can maximize the effectiveness of training, ensuring that the knowledge acquired is translated into concrete job performance. Special attention is paid to the advent of corporate academies, their histories and various types, analyzing their strategic value for managing to improve corporate training. Additional focus is reserved for the case study of Stevanato Group S.P.A.'s SG Academy as a virtuous model of an evolving Corporate Academy. The objective of the paper is to provide theoretical and practical guidance for understanding and optimizing training processes in organizations, offering useful insights for continuous improvement and human capital development.
In un contesto economico e tecnologico in continua evoluzione, il capitale umano è diventato un fattore cruciale per il vantaggio competitivo delle aziende. L’elaborato esplora il ruolo della formazione professionale come strumento strategico per lo sviluppo delle competenze organizzative e individuali. Partendo dai fondamenti teorici dell'apprendimento degli adulti e dalle teorie del training transfer, viene analizzato come le aziende possano massimizzare l'efficacia della formazione, garantendo che le conoscenze acquisite si traducano in prestazioni lavorative concrete. Un'attenzione particolare è dedicata all’avvento delle Corporate Academy, la loro storia e le varie tipologie, analizzandone il valore strategico per migliorare la formazione aziendale. Un focus ulteriore è riservato al caso studio della SG Academy di Stevanato Group S.P.A. come un modello virtuoso di Corporate Academy in evoluzione. L'obiettivo dell'elaborato è fornire una guida teorica e pratica per comprendere e ottimizzare i processi formativi nelle organizzazioni, offrendo spunti utili per il miglioramento continuo e lo sviluppo del capitale umano.
