Burnout syndrome among health professionals, who work in challenging work environments such as pediatric and adult oncology, is a growing phenomenon, with significant implications for the well-being of the providers and on the quality of patient care. Healthcare workers are exposed to a significant emotional and physical burden, which can promote the development of syndrome of professional exhaustion. It is therefore proposed that three questionnaires be administered: the demographic form, the MBI (MASCLACH of Burn Out) and MHL (Mediterranean diet related healthy lifestyle -score), the latter investigates the lifestyle of the workers. The objective of this thesis is to obtain a screening regarding the psychophysical status of health care professionals, exploring the factors of risk, protective, and coping strategies within hospital Operating Units of oncology. In particular, it is intends to pay attention to the specificities and differences in the challenges and work dynamics specific to pediatric and adult oncology settings. The processing and analysis of the data collected may be useful to better represent and understand the reality, in order to be able to possibly intervene through the implementation and/or implementation of improvement actions.
